In one of those free moments you have for productive thought, consider the impact of all those plastic bottles that we all use and throw out each week.  It may not seem too concerning if you were the only person in the world, but your not.  Calculate the number of bottles per year being used by 7 billion people worldwide.  Don't forget to add in all the companies out there doing the same.

Now, dare to think about the manpower and fuel cost of shipping these bottles around to get to your store.  Worse than that, you need to know that the largest component of these products is water.  They are shipped as RTU (Ready To Use) products, so we are literally shipping millions of gallons of water across the country every day.

Can you imagine the accumulated trash thrown out by these single-use products?  We are eventually going to down in plastic for lask of a place to put these items.  Plastic is predicted to last more than 100 years before breaking down.

Yet, another reason to mix your own cleaning products and reuse those bottles until they can't be used any more.  The more we all reuse those bottles, the greater the impact will be.

This is a huge issue, and here is a really simple cure.  "Mix your Own" should not be an alien concept.  For every refill you make, less bottles need to be made or thrown away.  It is not a small gesture when you consider what would happen if we all got the meno on "Going Green" in a meaningful way.
