You probably never give much thought to the trash bags that you buy, but let's change that mistake right away. Trash bags come in all kinds of shapes and sizes.  The thickness is meaningful for different types of trash to prevent breakouts.

Most plastic bags are made from virgin plastic, which means we are pulling millions of gallons of oil to get the necessary plastic for TRASH BAGS!  When you do the math and add up all the trash bags being use, it is simply staggering.

The solution is not perfect, but why not buy RECYCLED trash bags?  Yes, they plastic still comes from oil, but since it is already in plastic form, but recycled; why not get more mileage from the plastic.

By buying plastic trash bags, you are sending a message to bag manufacturers, and you are reducing our demand on more raw product.  The cost is nearly the same, but even it it is a few cents more ... why not.
